Jo Middlemiss is a Personal Life Coach, seeing clients face to face or working with them on the phone. She trained as Life Coach 10 years ago, adding that to her teaching and counselling qualifications.
She was a primary school teacher for 25 years specialising in additional support for learning. She runs her own Coaching Company called Dreamzwork but has also worked for Scottish Marriage Care for 12 years, counselling people with the full range of relationship challenges.
Jo also delivers workshops and talks on Positive Mental Attitude. She had her own column in a local newspaper and writes also for “Speech and Language Therapy in Practice.”
Her book, “What should I tell you” was published in 2008
It is about her sister Maggie who died 26 years ago. Maggie’s life and death is one of the main drivers in Jo’s work and has led to an ongoing interest in the world of palliative care. A percentage of the proceeds from the book go to Marie Curie.
